This is the latest movie from Studio Ghibli I’ve seen (the “Ponyo on a Cliff” is scheduled to be released on 2008). It was directed by Goro Miyazaki, Hayao Miyazaki’s son. As I know, previous Ghibli movies are excellent, in terms of everything! The story, the visual, the audio, everything just wonderful. This release, however, is plain disappointing.
The story revolves around Arren, the son of the King, Sparrowhawk the Archmage, Therru (a seemingly unimportant girl), and a witch called Cob. The plot is simple, the twists are predictable, it’s not as “crispy” as previous movies were.
This release is plain boring. Not recommended, unless you’re a Ghibli fanatics, or a collector, or just don’t have any other movie to watch (I doubt). If you want to experience the true Ghibli, watch “Castle In The Sky”, it’s my favorite Ghibli movie ever.

yah… ini salah satu contoh antitesis dari pernyataan “like father like son” deh kayaknya.. sayang banget ni padahal kan pasti banyak yang nunggu-nunggu tapi ternyata…….
