		<description>Nope, haven&#039;t tried it. Been wanting to try it for some time now, though. Btw, it&#039;s a hackbook :) I cut the BIOS loading time, and in real MacBooks, OS X boots a lot faster, but it&#039;s a different machine, so..</description>

		<description>Just curious have you tried puppy linux? From my experience it seemed to boot much faster than vanilla arch, which made me a little sad about arch.

Btw are you using a bona fide apple? Or a hacbook?</description>

The devs are putting the idea on hold, by the way, so it&#039;s likely that we eon&#039;t see a superfast X loading in the near future. The inittab tweak actually starts X a bit earlier while the modules are still loading, that&#039;s one solution that I know.</description>

		<description>Hm, save the edited files somewhere, then just -Syu per usual. Then, replace the updated files (dangerous) or, analyze the new files and edit as necessary. I prefer the 2nd way, and it works just well, I have updated initscripts twice.</description>
